2nd Grade Picture Day

I never was one to take a good school picture. . . But this one takes the cake-

It was the day I forgot it was picture day.

I lived across the street from the school and I can distinctly remember waking up to the sound of the 10 minute bell. I threw on the short sleeved sweater/shirt hand-me-down from my older cousin and ran to school. Needless to say after seeing the pictures my mom quickly made an appointment at the local beauty parlor for me to get my first perm-and all things hair were never the same after that.

Oh and in case you were wondering. . .that's me again in the corner either wishing for a better hair-do or praying to the good lord above that he reunite me with my real mother who would have done my hair for picture day- I was certain I had been switched at birth!

Valentines Cookies

Today my sister and I made Valentines Cookies

Apparently I made these back in '91, put them on sticks and made an arrangement out of them- I have no recollection of doing this but my sister did and was in the mood for making them today.

Had an ultrasound today

Everything looked good

HOWEVER

She is measuring in at 38 1/2 weeks

I am barely 35 weeks along

The basement isn't quite finished yet

I haven't even begun to get ready for her

Lilly was 8lbs 7 oz.
and 10 days over due

Should I be worried?

Principal's Pride

Anna and Kirsten were both recipients of the Principal's Pride Award this month.

Principal's Pride is an award given to recognize students who have done particularly well in class on a certain assignment.

Anna got it for her Book Report and Kirst for her Juab County Report.

YEA GIRLS! Good job on doing so well-And we are so proud of you too!
