They let us borrow their little red wagon all day yesterday.

Our streets were being paved and so we had to park outside of the neighborhood. It was a long enough walk and enough errands to necessitate the wagon.


Try to imagine me pulling two babies with three other kids in tow (my sisters darling daughter is staying with us)

Rather comical huh? We were quite a sight to behold.

addie and sharon (more fabulous neighbors) called to say they had some extra cucumbers and wanted to know if i could use them. you bet!!! here's what i did with them and a few of our own:

"Now that's the best tastin' pickle I ever hoid!"

they actually turned out and they are still crunchy. I amaze even myself-next on the docket: homemade wheat bread using ground up wheat from my wheat grinder (ann gave me hers-love you ann!) and umm in case you were wondering. . . yes they are in their pajamas and yes we are eating them for breakfast. :)

In the wee small hours of the morning

This is how I get to start out each day:

We're usually up around 6 A.M. drinking milk or juice, eating crackers and begging for "Dany" (candy)

I love my life!

CANDY CANNON!!!!

My FABULOUS neighbors (THE WEAVERS) have this amazing contraption called the "Candy Cannon". I am sure you can imagine what it does-shoots candy high into the air, like an exploding pinata!
I briefly mentioned that I would love to see it in action and my AWESOME neighbors were quick to oblige "let's do it tonight!" AND they provided the candy. Here are some still shots and some actual footage as well-truly the highlight of my summer!
